Bangor, Wales Portrait

August 27, 1967 - Photographer Henry Grossman traveled up to Bangor, North Wales to photograph the Beatles at the Normal College campus during their planned five-day meditation course with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. These portraits were taken shortly after they heard the devastating news that Brian Epstein had died. The Beatles’ party then dropped out of the conference and returned to London that evening by car.
